The main goal of ekShop Academy is to enhance the skills and knowledge of CMSMEs (Cottage, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in the areas of digital and financial literacy specifically tailored for e-commerce business. We have conducted numbers of training sessions with UNCDF-VISA, Meta, Anondomela, E-Joyeeta, BSCIC, a2i’ District Branding initiative, etc.

ekShop, on behalf of Aspire to Innovate (a2i) program collaborates with Meta and Light Castle Partners, and Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI), to expand the #SheMeansBusiness program to Bangladesh since 2022. Led by Light Castle Partners and its consortium partners, the #SheMeansBusiness program offers a comprehensive support system to empower women entrepreneurs in launching and expanding their ventures, by leveraging technology to help overcome barriers and achieve sustainable growth. With a global presence in 38 countries, the campaign has already trained over a million women worldwide. Beyond equipping women entrepreneurs with digital skills, the program aims to foster an enabling policy environment for digital commerce in collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders. The program’s success serves as a model for empowering women in entrepreneurship and driving digital transformation in emerging economies.

The #SheMeansBusiness program in Bangladesh, carefully designed by Light Castle Partners, consists of three distinct phases: physical workshopsonline training sessions, and on-demand instructional videos. This comprehensive approach equips female entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge, networks, and digital tools to thrive in the evolving digital space.

For #SheMeansBusiness training, workshops have been completed in regions, such as: Dhaka, Bogra, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensing, Netrokona, with many more locations to be added.
