One of the most important pillars of e-Commerce is the digital literacy of its users. According to a report, the Small and Micro Businesses (SMBs) contribute more than 20% to the national GDP but lack the necessary digital and financial skills to leverage the ecosystem effectively. Collaborating with credible names like United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), Meta, VISA Foundation, Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BWCCI), and Light Castle Partners LLC, ekShop has conducted many workshops nationwide till to date, on topics like, delivering sustainable business management and digital financial literacy skills to the SMBs, to strengthen their business resiliency. e-learning modules, including audio-visual and app-based tools were developed and used for the trainings. The core objective was to help entrepreneurs gain soft and hard skills to engage in the digital space meaningfully. The learning modules covered broader aspects of the digital and financial ecosystem, like why and how to onboard the business to digital platforms and the benefits of engaging in cashless transactions. The digital and financial literacy modules helped more than 100,000 SMBs, at least 25% of which are women-led, to use digital tools specifically for digital business transformation. ekShop offers innovative, inclusive and sustainable ICT-based solutions. We currently offer at least 38 such in-house developed applications. Check the full list here: ekShop Network
